MBA/MSE Joint Degree Program
The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the College of Business, offers a joint degree program that results in students receiving both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree with specializations in either Software or Systems Engineering. The program is offered as a cohort where all students take the same classes on an accelerated schedule tailored to working students.
Our joint-degree program is available to students who prefer an accelerated "executive" style of learning at our off-campus (Rose Orchard Way) location [map]. Each three-unit class is eight-weeks long, meeting one evening per week (for 3.5 hours) on two Saturdays. Classes are delivered year-round in six 8-week sessions. This format allows students to complete six courses per year.
The accelerated format allows a student to complete the degree in less time than the semester format used in our traditional on-campus programs. If all foundation requirements have been satisfied, students can complete the accelerated program in 36 months.
In addition, many students find the accelerated program more convenient for their jobs or personal life because courses are held at our off-campus location.
