Matriculated students

1. If you are a formally admitted student, before you register, you must be sure to check your online enrollment appointment time. For instructions on how to check that, go here: http://webcms.sjsu.edu/opencms6/opencms/registrar/tutorials/view_appt.html
Once your appointment time comes up, you can register. For a tutorial on how to register and use MySJSU, please go here:
http://www.sjsu.edu/depts/cms/mysjsu/students/student_selfservice/index.shtml
2. After you have enrolled, and starting about 3 to 4 weeks before classes begin, check the Schedules & Syllabi webpage for information on textbooks and advance reading for your class.
3.

If you need to drop a course, the refund schedules are posted on the schedule page each semester. The latest refund schedule can be found here: http://cobix.cob.sjsu.edu/files/Refund%20schedule-MS%20Taxation.pdf

The drop policy can be found here: Drop Policy

Please submit all forms to the Lucas Graduate School of Business office and we will submit them to the proper departments.

Open University students

1. Open University allows students who are not enrolled in a program at SJSU to take a class if there is room in it.
2. Open University may be appropriate for someone wanting to just take one MST course, such as for continuing education courses. It is also appropriate for students who already have an MST or who are working on the Advance Certificate in Taxation.
3. Students are only allowed to transfer in six units (two classes) into the SJSU MST Program. Open University classes are considered the same as transfer classes, so if you have not transferred in courses from other universities, you can count up to two courses taken through Open University toward your degree.
4. To sign up for an MST course through Open University, please complete the form found here: Open University Information and Class Registration Form
