* The online simulation confronts participants and their teams with the need to function as a general manager in an effort to market personal computers to five distinct marketing segments. Competitive success depends substantially on your team’s ability to make well-coordinated marketing mix decisions. Total success cannot be achieved, however, unless tactical resource decisions and expenditures are balanced with strategic resource decisions and expenditures. Forecasting, management of your company’s production function, and monitoring of financial statements are additional activities that play an important role in your company’s success.
